This common form of welding is not only for the professional but for those interested in hobby engineering. The majority of this course is practical and each learner submits test pieces which are marked internally and verified externally by City & Guilds.

Learners have tuition in setting up and choosing the correct equipment for the task as well as steel selection and preparation.
